The Power of Open Hands
Gentle Reminder to Self: It is only with open hands that I am able to both give and receive. When I cling, I block my blessings. What is for me will not require me to claw my way to it. It is safe for me to receive what is easeful.
When my hands are closed—grasping, clinging to what I think I know and want—I cannot receive. When my hands are open, I am able to receive all that is for me, and to trust that what is for me will stay.
There is ease that comes with softening into the belief that everything I seek is seeking me. An out breath that comes with knowing I don’t have to fight— to scrape tooth and nail— for what is mine.
What if I could rest and know that those who come and those who go are meant to? That my path is ordered, and that redirection is a gift, pointing me toward what is more aligned?
Wishing you sweetness on your journey,
